March signals the beginning of Autumn. And while it may not feel like it in some parts of the country, with the temperature still hovering around the 28 degree mark, in many parts the cold weather has well and truly set in.
But enough about the weather – let’s talk about the food! Cooler temperatures call for comfort dishes – pies, puddings, stews, soups. In this blog post we’ll be rejoicing in the abundance of autumn produce available. Pears, apples and figs are all sweet and juicy while nectarines, apricots and cherries are reaching the end of their season, becoming ripe and plentiful.
