I like that it has an entirely metal interior (no plastic in contact with the water). It's quiet and boils reasonably fast. It's a nice feature that it's insulated to keep the water warm for a while after boiling - this must be saving us a bit of electricity as we're not re-boiling it so often. I thought 1.5l might be small but we haven't noticed the difference, it's plenty for a household of three. Would recommend it if you're looking for a nice kettle that just boils water, with no fancy stuff.

After reading about the negative health risks of a cheap jug, I've been committed to upgrading to a better quality. I've had my eye on this kettle for some time now, I just love the look of them. Now we've finally got one, I am stoked. The water boils quickly and quietly, and it STAYS HOT. And it looks so gorgeous with the tiles in our kitchen. I liked it so much, I went and got the matching toaster the following week!

I feel like the quality of the product isn’t as good as other kitchen aid appliances but it could be because it’s basic. It would be great if the base where the kettle sits to be the same colour to make it look more high end

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hoopus from Good Purchase! Simply an ace kettle, I'm very happy with it. Solid and good quality. I also filled it up more than max which they say not to do, but nothing bad happened and it does safely hold more than the advertised 1.5 li, which was a very nice to have possibility for the odd occasion when you need to boil a lot of water for many guests (obviously won't need to do this often though). And I LOVE that there is no plastic whatsoever on the inside of the kettle, just stainless steel. Plus the double walls... amazing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by rafael from Good kettle but the construction was simplified The kettle is good, really quiet. But on the website the manual said that there should be a "bell-like" ding. In the current version there is not any bell. It just turning off without any sound. The manual which comes with the kettle was also updated, and there is nothing about sound. Just be careful when you buy it that you will have only visual (LED) indication. Construction was simplified which is not perfect in my opinion. Thus only 3 starts.

Rated 1 out of 5 by katy53 from Very disappointing I bought this jug from Briscoes and within 2 weeks it was rusting in the bottom of the inside of the jug, had it replaced by Briscoes(full credit to them for doing so with no arguments)only to have the same thing happen again. Returned for full credit at that stage and now have another brand which is showing no sign of rust so cant be blamed on my water supply. Quality of metal used is not up to standard?

The Kitchen-Aid was the only one that doesn't leak, that switches itself off every time, and simply does what it is intended to do. Added to that, it has a stainless lining, a double skin that keeps it hot and looks great in the kitchen. We should have bought one years ago!

Only one thing needs to improve is that the lid is a bit loose , when you pour water, too much comes out and the spring doesn’t feel good, lack of elasticity. Our last one is DeLongi, we used 3years. KA is expensive than DeLongi, hope we can use it for 4 years
