- 2 bananas (peeled, sliced and frozen)
- 1/4 cup rolled oats
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- 1 cup almond or oat milk
- K400 blender
- Add all of the smoothie ingredients into a KitchenAid blender, place the lid on and blend until thick and smooth. More nut milk can be added if you prefer a runny smoothie. Pour into 2 glasses.
- To make the almond cream, rinse the blender before adding the almond butter and the coconut yogurt. Place the lid on and blend until it is a smooth thick consistency. Depending on how thick the almond butter you are using, a little extra coconut yogurt or nut milk can be added.
- To serve pour the almond cream over the top and swirl it through. Sprinkle over the top the cocoa nibs and toasted shaved coconut.
