Now that I have one of my own, I am not disappointed whatsoever. I love the deep beetroot color as well. The mixer is sturdy, durable, easy to use, and not loud at all. The mixer is heavy and the bowls lock into place making it very sturdy. It comes with two bowls, a flex edge beater, a wire whip, a flat beater, a dough hook, a scraper, and a pouring shield. The attachments are easy to take on and off and clean up is a breeze. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stand mixer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think some of the kitchen aid brand products fall a bit short of expectations, but not the stand mixers! I grew up with one of these and learned to bake using one. It’s THE mixer for baking enthusiasts. They work so well, and I’ve seen people who use there’s constantly do regular maintenance and keep theirs in perfect condition. Although my mom’s is 30-something years old and still works like a charm! So excited to have one. I just hope I can clear off more counter space! As far as the color, I was expecting a gloss finish. It looks pretty, but I think the glossy finish on my mom’s makes it easier to clean than this one.

This tilt head style is better than I expected. It is much easier to attach, remove and scrape beaters and bowl. This is a big deal as I have issues in my hands after decades of working with them. The only real drawback I have is with bread. Small batches and soft doughs are fine but it really struggles with a medium large portion of sourdough. Still, it is quite worth it and the color looks awesome in my kitchen.

But wow, now that our appetites returned, I must say what a beauty this is! A Cadillac in the world of mixers-cloaked in a vibrant Beetroot color. Quite unique! I started with an easy cake mix to give it a whirl, and it performed very smoothly and easily. I love the varied attachments, and can’t wait to begin experimenting. So many possibilities! It is very finely constructed. Now my son wants to learn to cook-especially with this new mixer. I definitely recommend this as a fine addition to one’s kitchen.

I am extremely satisfied. The quality of this product is instantly evident in the weight and feel of this mixer. The 5 Quart Stainless Steel Bowl has a comfortable handle for small or large batches to mix up. I really like how the lever smoothly raises the mixing bowl into position, and the bowl attaches at 3 lock points for maximum stability. This is my favorite kitchen item. I no longer have to do things by hand as this item thoroughly mixes and briskly whips ingredients for a wide variety of recipes in a matter of minutes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After dreaming of owning one for so long, I was gifted a Kitchen Aid KM195 for my birthday this year. So far I have made sponge cake, biscuits, bread rolls, hot cross buns, pizza dough and buttercream. They have all turned out so much better than when I was using a hand mixer/kneading by hand. The plastic shield it comes with is a life saver for cleaning up, the dough hook kneads so effortlessly and you can even use the paddle attachment to crumb butter and flour together. If you are new to using a Kitchen Aid, I highly recommend downloading the cook book as it advises you which attachments are required for the recipe and the correct speeds. Absolutely highly highly highly recommend!

She has been using a handheld mixer for years, but this is where it's at! Gone are the days of holding the mixer in one hand while holding the mixing bowl with the other, now her hands are free to add ingredients or to peruse her recipes. This mixer is a pleasure to use, it literally cut baking prep time in half and mixes the contents to perfection, from cookie dough to pizza dough, this thing does it all. Attractive color as well, really stands out in our kitchen. Sturdy and heavy duty mixer, built to last. Highly recommended!

The second I took it out of the box I could tell this will be in my life forever, it is really heavy/sturdy! I don’t usually bake but the first thing I made was a red velvet cake with white chocolate custard buttercream icing (Google Natalie Paulls from Beatrix bakes for the recipe) as it used a couple of the attachments multiple times (the flat edge beater and whisk) so I could really try it out. The cake itself turned out beautiful! So moist and airy. My icing skills on the other hand have some work to do… :-)
