Rated 2 out of 5 by Carine from Worst noise, unstable, safety low I love Kitchen aid and I am sorry to have to share this review, but honestly, this food processor is so cheap in so many ways. First, it's unstable, on high speed it move on the benchtop, you clearly have to push it down or it travel on the surface. Next, the safety, you can open the lid even if it's processing! No safety lock as in the previous version I had. Finally, the noise is the most terrible part! shape high pitch noise I had many food processor before and this is the worst thing. Also, the power is average, hard to break ice cubes ok for some soft dates or soft nuts.

In general working well as described only one thing I realise that it’s not large enough for 7 cup measurement (I suppose it all depends on what thing to chop in there anyway) and it is very noisy (compare to my cheap blender not even a KitchenAid product) so I use this chopper only when it is appropriate time to cook

I love how it looks - it’s compact and the fact that it stores all the blades means I don’t have to look for them - ever !! It does a great job - Fast and simple to use . It’s smaller than I expected - and maybe should have sized up but having said that it does all I want it to for 3 of us in the house . If you want to do batch cooking - go bigger . Easy to wash , easy to set up - make sure you put the “pusher” in the funnel the right way -. It’s used every few days and light enough to be lifting in and out of a cupboard . It’s so pretty ( I got the cream one ) it could stand on the bench if you wanted . I definitely recommend !

I particularly like the fact that all the bits can be stored inside the bowl, the way the lid opens and comes off is also good. The food processor works really well and makes life a lot easier when I am busy. If I were to find any fault at all it is that I would have liked a super fine slicer - but that is just me being picky - I can do all I need to do with the attachments that I have. I might have to buy one of these for my sister. I would certainly look at using this brand again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by TheShadowMan from Excellent design I have had a couple of cheaper ones and took the plunge on a Kitchenaid (finally) Absolutely no regrets. The way the lid hinges on to the "jug" and that I simply press the jug down on to the motor to click/lock it in place is genius! The lower blade sits just above the bottom of the jug and thus chops every last piece. 2 sizes of chutes means carrots stay in place for slicing. Grated several spuds for hash browns in a trice. Love the classic, red colour.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Robin from Seven Cup Food processor This little beauty replaced a larger Kenwood I had owned for quite a while. Although it has a smaller capacity I find I much prefer its size. I checked reviews of available processors online and Kitchenaid stood out. In terms of effectiveness of chopping, blending and grating it is excellent. While I am thrilled with the efficacy of the attachments, what has sealed the deal for me is the fact that they are all cached inside the bowl when they are not in use Perfect!!!! One of the reasons I replaced the Kenwood is that I couldn't find the grating/grinding attachments, lost over time. It was annoying hunting for them each time I needed them, even more annoying to find one day they were gone. I also really like the way the lid attaches to the bowl. And finally the overall look of my new processor is awesome. I often wondered about Kitchenaid products. I am sold! Well done.

Reduces SO much time and effort with cutting/shredding etc. preparing meals becomes so much quicker especially when you have limited time. I can’t believe I went so long without this in my life.
