Rated 5 out of 5 by ed8080 from Good replacement [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought as a replacement for double-wall jug that come with the original blender where the blending mechanism had failed over time. This jug fits perfectly and is actually lighter and more compact than the double-wall version and in this regard works better for our needs. It even fits more easily into the dishwasher, too. It has the same drainage holes in the base so that water doesn't pool when the jug is placed upside down in the dishwasher. The circular measuring cup in the lid also holds more securely than the one in the double-wall jug did. The previous jug did become a bit opaque and scarred on the inside over time and use and will see if this one does the same thing but that will probably come down to whether we are putting harder objects (eg ice) in to blend or not.
