I'd highly recommend getting one of these no matter who you are - it's easy to use, it makes perfect pasta every time - just dust walnut sized balls of whatever pasta flour your using pop the balls one at a time in your pasta press and out comes your pasta! it's so easy! perfect pasta every time! clean up is easy too - don't hesitate - you can make whole grain pasta with free range eggs or chick pea flour pasta or red lentil pasta - or plain flour pasta! You will be so popular at summer bbq's with your fresh pasta salads! - so cheap, easy - always at hand - fresh pasta!!! - I'd say..... YES BUY THIS GOURMET PASTA PRESS!!!!!!

The first time I made the pasta mix too wet and had some very misshapened fusilli - still edible. The second time the mix was much better with the macaroni coming out beautifully. My only gripe is the cleaning process of the shape plates. It’s all manual and water cannot be used. The tool provided doesn’t always get to the places to remove the dough so a pin is the best method in so areas. Otherwise would recommend - can’t wait to test out the other shapes!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Olgica from Recipes need localisation Purchased the pasta making attchment in NZ. Would have been nice if the pasta recipe was adapted to the locally available ingredients. Other appliances come with specific AU and NZ measurements/ratios, given na flour is very different. Also, using cups is not very helpful, as the actual content can vary significantly (up to 20-30%). Also, the cutter not sure if well designed - all pieces seem to stick together, but will try again with different dough recipe. Thx!

I didn’t use the dough recipe in the manual - used an egg pasta dough from another recipe book. Turned out great. I floured the work surface so it hits the flour when it comes out which helps it not to stick together. Very easy to use and not too hard to clean as long as you do it before it dries. Yum pasta and looks professional!

So far I've made 3 types of pasta, one of attachment has already broken. and the plastic screw that guides the pasta also comes with plastic burrs. A brand as good as this one should ensure that these little things don't happen.
