I got this to replace my previous nutribullet blender which was also good but the main reason for switching to the kitchen aid is being able to easily take the lid off and put it on whereas with the nutribullet it had a twist top that was quite difficult to take off. This blender has 3 different speeds for various functions and the ability to clean itself is great as well. Would definitely recommend for the price.

I chose this blender because it said it was powerful but honestly, the blade isn't as powerful as the description says it is. It takes awhile for the frozen fruits to blend so I have to thaw the fruits before I put it in the blender. Now I'm a bit hesitant to put ice cubes in it. I read all the manual of instructions and it just didn't meet up to my expectations especially for the money I paid for it

I wanted to get an upright blender as I had issues with the Nutribullet leaking when blending. I was a little concerned that the KitchenAid-K150 wouldn't blend as well due to the lower power wattage but it is amazing!! I use it every day to make my breakfast smoothie and it easily blends frozen berries with no residual lumps. The ice crushing feature is awesome too!
