Rated 2 out of 5 by Torresa1 from Capellini cutter is useless I bought this set hoping to get a newer version of the previous kitchenaid pasta cutters I had but was let down by the capellini cutter. The capellini cutter, which was the main reason for buying the set, just turns my dough to a mush and doesn’t pass through the cutter. The same exact dough passes through my older model kitchen aid cutters (those that were squared off instead of round) and make spaghetti, fettuccine, and lasagnette just fine. I’ve tried drying my dough out more, I’ve tried dough with higher hydration ratios and nothing will pass through the capellini cutter for me. Customer service is extremely difficult to get ahold of at the moment so I guess if I don’t get a response to this review, I’m just trashing the capellini cutter because it’s useless.

Rated 3 out of 5 by kbrook1126 from Saves time but cleaning is difficult I've have this set for a couple of years and love the lasagentte cutter but have challenges with the capellini cutter. While the capellini cutter saves more time than using my Kitchenaid Pasta Press with spaghetti attachment, the pasta dough continues to get stuck in the body of the cutter. I continue to let it dry completely and use the brush and toothpicks to try to clean it but it has minimal impact. After a few years of use, the dried pieces have accumulated to the point that it sounds like a rattle, attracts bugs in storage, and I no longer want to use it.

I also got the pasta sheet roller, which broke after first use. Its pretty disappointing after you spent so much money and expect premium products. The linguine cutter is the only one that works at least somewhat good. The spaghetti cutters were immediately blocked with dough and the 'plastic' hooks on the bottom fell out. Took me almost 45 minutes to clean that mess! I don't know who designed this, but its a total fail. I try to return the items but can only advise everybody to stay away.

I received this 2 piece a couple months ago and just before Christmas I tried it .....the fettuccine or wide noodle will not cut through...every other one is not cut.....it leaves a line and I had to go through all the pasta and separate them. A lot of work...I haven’t tried the thin pasta yet....I’m worried it will not work also.....I also just purchased the gourmet pasta machine....will let you know how I like it soon....I make a lot of pasta using my hand pasta machine in the past. Never had a problem with the cutters. Please help me with this. I love making homemade pasta. I also have the sheeted or roller which works great...

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ryel from works right when carefull I have used the KPRA sheeet roller/Fettuccine/spaghettei cutters for many years, ussually with good results. Sometimes the Fettuccine cutter clogs and dwill not ccut requiring me to take it apart, clean the dough out and re-assemble. What happens is the sheet metal fingers that clear the cutter groove can pop out under stress. This stress can be caused by three conditions: dough too thick: dough too moist mis-alignment while feeding sheets causes extra strain on cutter. I have learned to flour the sheets before rolling rolling them thinner, I go down to the "6" before cutting. When cutting I flour the cutting rollers. When a jam occurs, I check the position of the cleaner fingers because they can pop out. Easily corrected by removing the cover screws (other end from the drive) then remove the spring retainer. Clean out all dough, replace the fingers the the stamped retainers, replace retainer spring to hold the fingers in place. Replace the cover an two screws. Finish job. Enjoy the pasta.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Cheer from Dough stuck and could not use I bought this attachment as I bought the roller first. And I thought the spaghetti cutter will make the progress a bit easy. I used for twice. Every time the dough got stuck and can’t use afterward. So I have to use my old manual one instead. i tried twice. The fist time I thought it’s because of the dough is too wet. I try to make the second time very dry. Still not working.

Rated 1 out of 5 by kkqq from Pasta cutter faulty I bought the pasta cutter twice, the smaller one was faulty, I thought I was unlucky, then purchased another one. when receiving it today, brand new pasta cutter, the dough stuck inside, noodle did not come out. The cutter has problem in design.
