My husband (trying to be helpful) put it through the dishwasher after my first use and now it leaves a grey/black residue on my hands every time I handle it, and on my teatowels and silicone measuring tools. I'm really disappointed. This was my first ever kitchenaid and an absolute splurge for me.

I kept sticking it back into it’s hole but finally got fed up with it as it was coming loose much quicker and sending sugar, for instance, flying out of the bowl. I hope this one lasts longer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by TonyB from Whisk wearing out on the glass bowl Don’t use the KSM156ACA that much but the whisk that came with the mixer rubs on the glass bowl. One piece of wire has worn through with the other almost through. Should it do that? (Always washed by hand)
