[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this on the recommendation of a friend who used to work for KA, I had just bought the Proline 7 qt in Red in Jan 2022, and he raved about the new one, so I purchased it..... These pictures were taken after 1 use, I do use metal cups for adding flour, etc but have used my Red one for 11 months sometimes 3x a week, this was after 1 use. The nicks to me are unacceptable, not sure if I got a lemon or the material is different but I am pretty disappointed in the quality, esp if it is supposed to be the latest and greatest. (side note: it is quieter and I do like the addition of the 1/2 speed!)

Will not knead...tried couple times, didn't work. Makes cookies and cakes good but the main reason I wanted it was for making bread and pizza dough....terrible. I sent it back and got out my 40 year old kitchenaid hobart mixer...what a difference! Makes bread dough wonderfully. Also the pouring cover never went on..was to small. One good thing, kitchenaid made it right with me. I was able to order some other small appliances in exchange for the mixer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] KitchenAid® 7 Quart Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer This stand Mixer works fantastic. Great for kneading bread and making my own pizza dough. It’s made my life so much easier in the kitchen when making homemade treats and food. I’m very impressed with how powerful the motor is and very quiet while in use. I love all the different attachments that it came witty. I’m looking forward to the holidays and all the homemade foods I can make for family and friends. I do like that the bowl has a splash guard so no messes. It is also is dishwasher safe. Very impressed with my KitchenAid stand mixer.

Based upon that knowledge, we ordered it. After receiving it and using it for a few times, I saw that the information and Q&A has been updated (again) to state that it does not have a DC motor. I feel that this is a fine stand mixer, and is an ok value, but not worth the premium price that KitchenAid sells it for. Wish we would've known the real information, we would have waited for the ProLine with the DC motor to come back into stock. Feels like I got baited and switched like at a car dealership.

I am so impressed. It's very heavy and durable and easy to use. I tried out attachments and bowl and made Smore Brownie/cookies. It blended all the ingredients smoothly from oil to water to butter. The ingredients was so creamy and rich and poured out evenly. I highly recommend this and can't wait to try more gadgets!! Rune so smoothly I barely hear it. The bowl and attachment stay in place yet very easy to take off and wash as well. The design is easy to work with from cake to brownies to cookies even meats and juicing. I love the color and how easy it is to clean.

It's made baking so much more fun. It was super helpful when baking a large cake, and whipping cream was a breeze. I'd definitely recommend this 7-quart model for frequent bakers though, as it's pretty bulky and heavy. I would leave the mixer on the countertop if I had the space, but overall it's not too difficult to bring out from a cabinet whenever I need it. Also FYI, the instructions on how to adjust the bowl height are unclear. The written instructions contradict the picture, but the picture is actually the correct method.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am just loving this Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer with a 7 Quart mixing bowl, I have made some cookies and a cake with using this Kitchen Aid Mixer! It makes mixing the ingredients so much easier and so much quick by using this mixer instead of me trying to do it all by hand like I was before I had this Kitchen Aid Mixer. I like that this mixer has different speeds that I can set it to. I also am just loving the look of this Kitchen Aid Mixer also the light grey color is so pretty, and it matches my kitchen decoration so I can leave the mixer out on my counter top as decoration as well.
